Some like it hot
And that can indeed make good sense. Especially for consuming CBD, for example, because aside from taking it sublingually, inhaling CBD with a so-called vaporiser is the quickest way to get the highly effective cannabinoid into the bloodstream.
What the cannabinoid CBD is exactly and how it works in the human body are matters we have already discussed in detail in connection with our CBD oil products. Therefore, in this present product description, let us concentrate more closely on the different ways of taking CBD and on our own product, “Breathe-CBD”.
One way of taking CBD has already been briefly mentioned: so-called sublingual application. This means placing droplets of CBD oil beneath the tongue and leaving it there for at least one minute before swallowing it. This allows the precious oil to be absorbed into the bloodstream through the mucous membranes of the mouth and does not have to wait to be absorbed through the stomach or the bowel. This makes sublingual application one of the quickest ways for enabling CBD to produce its positive effects in and on the body.
There is only one way to absorb CBD even more quickly, and that is by vaporising it – i.e. inhaling it. The reason is that vaporisation allows the CBD to be transmitted direct to the bloodstream via the lungs. As this method means that next to nothing of the CBD is “lost” and administration takes place very evenly, the positive effect it produces is even stronger, compared to products with the same concentration but taken in a different way.
CBD vaporisation is therefore especially suited for people wishing to get to grips with health challenges in a very speedy manner. In order to take CBD by this method, all you additionally need is a vaporiser or an E-cigarette. In this area, there are a very wide range of models on the market – but the principle is always the same. A heating element heats the CBD, causing the active substances to be vaporised, but without burning them. This vapour is then inhaled via the mouthpiece, enabling the beneficial substances to enter the lungs, where they are then absorbed into the bloodstream.
It is important to note, however, that no attempt should be made to heat normal CBD oil in a vaporiser because the oil used for sublingual application, for example, is not suitable for that purpose. Only certain liquids containing CBD that are specially produced for vaporisation are suitable for that application and are known as CBD liquid. And that is precisely what Breathe-CBD is. Hence also the name “Breathe”, as the product is intended for inhalation.
Breathe-CBD is a natural, extremely high-quality liquid, which is ideally suited for use in standard, off-the-shelf E-cigarettes and vaporisers. The premium quality of Breathe-CBD is immediately apparent on the very first glance into the bottle. As you will see, the contents form a perfect blend, and the oil is not simply floating on the surface.
Breathe-CBD contains 200 mg of pure CBD in outstanding premium quality, obtained from the Cannabis sativa L. plant using the CO2 extraction. The plants are dried very gently at a temperature of less than 35°C in order to preserve the maximum range of active substances. Natural terpenes ensure the distinctive, full-bodied aroma.
Breathe-CBD is a top-class product that is produced and bottled with greatest care in conformity with EU quality standards. It is suitable for immediate use. There is therefore no more need for measuring-out, mixing or dosing, and so is very easy and time-saving to use. Our CBD liquid is also free of THC and contains no artificial aromas and no herbicides, pesticides or fungicides. And, of course, no nicotine!
And speaking of nicotine: Did you know that with the aid of non-harmful CBD vaporisation, you can help to break your addiction to harmful cigarette smoking? Yes, that really is the case, and has been proven in a randomised double-blind study conducted in 2013 by London University. For seven days, 12 smokers were provided with inhalers containing CBD, while 12 other smokers were given inhalers containing a placebo substance. Whenever the participants felt the urge to smoke, they were allowed to use the inhalers.
The smokers who inhaled CBD were able to reduce their cigarette consumption by 40%! And in saying that, it should be remembered that the test was only conducted for a week. To underline the effect, the participants were surveyed repeatedly in the course of the next few weeks. The effect was maintained, and the participants smoked less.
The placebo group noticed no difference in the level of their nicotine addiction. Their tobacco consumption remained unchanged.
The researchers are convinced that CBD offer an exciting and effective way of countering nicotine addiction. As they write: “CBD is known for its subtle and consistently calming effect”. Which is not really surprising to anyone who knows how positively CBD acts in and on the body. This knowledge justifies further research into this topic as CBD constitutes a potential method for treating nicotine dependency.
The important factor in all cases, however, is the method of taking it, which should be either sublingually or through a vaporiser. CBD capsules are also available on the market. With regard to these, however, you need to be careful. If the capsules are not resistant to the gastric juices, you should avoid using them. The reason for this is that if capsules dissolve in the stomach, the stomach acid converts some of the CBD into THC, causing the high health benefits to be partially lost. So if you do take CBD capsules, always make sure they are ones that do not dissolve until they reach the bowel.
